These scholarship positions help students strengthen their critical thinking, enhance collaboration, and gain the skills needed to set and achieve personal and professional goals.
Each team is unique and requires a separate application. However, members of each team live and work within our partner complexes and strive to advance the department's mission by fostering an authentic campus life experience, connecting students with campus resources, and promoting a strong affinity for UVU.
Applications for the '26-'27 academic year will be open from
February 10 - March 10, 2026
Freshmen Community Mentors, or FCMs, live on-site, plan workshops for the first-year students at their complexes, and focus on using a peer-mentoring framework to put Wolverines on a solid path to success.
Participation Requirements
Residential Community Leaders, or RCLs, live on-site, plan events for their complexes, and engage with their peers to create a sense of community.

Our student leaders plan programs, events, and workshops each month to connect students living in off-campus housing with one another and with the university. Our events are great places to meet new people, learn new skills, have fun, or hear about UVU events and resources. Our programs and workshops are great places to learn about living on your own, with roommates, or working with complex managers. All of this is FREE, and we encourage all UVU students to attend!
