We live in a world that seems forever captured in violence and injustice. Since 2007, Utah Valley University’s Peace and Justice Studies has joined hundreds of colleges and universities offering academic programs in Peace and Justice Studies.

This field of study asserts that lasting nonviolence and justice can be achieved! An emergence in the craft of building peace and justice has now allowed us to work for a just and peaceable future. The interdisciplinary approach we take through the many courses we offer fits a global, engaged learning approach to Peace and Justice Studies. Our program focuses on mediation and conflict transformation, community and peace organizing, and conflict analysis.

Our program offers a minor, an emphasis in political science, an integrated studies degree, and a certificate in mediation. We are training the next generation of peacebuilders: join us!
