"I was a non-standard student in that I came back to get my degree after nearly 15 years of professional work in my field. A degree at UVU helped me to appreciate the things I took for granted and opened up opportunities for further growth in my career. Advice for new students
"The single hardest thing for any person in tech is to stay on top of the vast amount of changes going on in the industry. School is only the tip of the ice berg. To be successful in your field, you must continue to learn more, read more and apply yourself more than those around you, or you may get left in the dust. Stay focused on your career path, there are endless opportunities to excel right here in Utah!"
