Classroom Technology Resources

Service Description

A Media Enhanced Classroom (MEC) is a room that is equipped with a controlled, ceiling-mounted LCD projector that is capable of projecting a computer or video image onto a projection screen. The Control for this projector is a touch panel located on the top of the teacher station. All MECs have a podium that contains a connection for an external laptop and all the audio visual equipment (i.e., DVD, audio amp, audio mixer, video switcher). Operating instructions are posted on top of the podium. Some podiums are set up with internal desktop computers and document cameras.
