As colder weather settles over campus and winter break is in your sights, you might already be longing for sunshine, sandy beaches, and warm breezes. While we can’t change the weather, we can send you somewhere sunny—at least through your screen.
How to Find Streaming Videos
There are a few ways to search for movies to stream:
- On the library’s homepage, click the “videos” tab above the search field, then search by topic or title. For movies you can stream, click the “online streaming” option before running your search.
- If you don’t have a movie in mind, browse movies through our video databases, which can be found on the library homepage. Select the “videos” tab, then “video databases” under the search box.
Fulton Library offers free movie streaming for all UVU students, faculty, and staff, including films you won’t find free on most subscription platforms. Stay warm this winter, and enjoy a little sunshine from the Fulton Library’s streaming collection:
Feel-Good Comedies
- Legally Blonde (2001): Elle Woods brings California sunshine with her to Harvard Law in this upbeat comedy.
- Hoosiers(1986): A small-town Indiana basketball team chases big dreams in this sports classic.
- The Intern (2015): A 70-year-old intern joins an online fashion startup, bringing heart to a modern workplace.
- The Truman Show (1998): A man discovers that his sunny, picture-perfect life is not what it seems through a series of laughable events.
- Clueless(1995): Cher, a Beverly Hills high schooler, navigates friendship, love, and self-discovery.
Warm Adventures
- Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981): Indiana Jones races through deserts, jungles, and ancient ruins in this iconic adventure.
- Jurassic Park (1993): A tropical island theme park filled with dinosaurs becomes the ultimate (and slightly dangerous) summer getaway.
