Utah Valley University's 35 credit (5th Edition Task List), face-to-face graduate degree will prepare students to become practitioners of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and to work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has approved the UVU ABA course sequence as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements to apply.

Students who already have a Master's degree in an approved Master's content area (i.e., Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis) may complete the Approved Course Sequence and the Approved Practicum Experience. Students must still apply to the program.
Students admitted to the Applied Behavior Analysis M.Ed. program at UVU have a unique opportunity to work with the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism located on UVU campus. The center provides engaged learning opportunities with laboratory classrooms which operate as practicum site for some students in the ABA program.
The course sequence has been approved by ABAI.

* Students who already have a qualifying master's degree may opt-out of EDUC 6100 (Research Methodology) and EDUC 6110 (Applied Statistics for Education).
