I loved the ABA program at UVU so much! The program taught me the academic skills
I needed to be more than proficient and pass the BCBA exam, but also taught me countless
soft skills that make me a better clinician in the field. The professors gave us so
many hands-on assignments and projects that helped me practice everything that we
were learning in real-life with fantastic mentoring. Even though the program is longer
and more challenging than others, it made it so much easier to take the exam and made
the transition into the field as a BCBA so smooth. I'll always be grateful that I
did UVU's ABA program!”
This program has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to advocate for and support
children in reaching their full potential."
To be considered for admission, individuals interested in earning their M.Ed. at UVU must successfully complete all admission criteria.
Only graduate level courses which contain behavior analytic content can be considered for transfer or equivalent credit. However, this is determined on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantee that a course will be counted. Any courses that do not have behavior analytic content will not be considered for transfer or equivalent credit. Please reach out to the ABA program director, Dr. Caleb Stanley, should you want to inquire about the possibility of transferring credits or equivalent coursework.
Students admitted to the Applied Behavior Analysis M.Ed. program at UVU have a unique opportunity to work with the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism located on UVU campus. The center provides engaged learning opportunities with laboratory classrooms which operate as practicum site for some students in the ABA program.
