MASTERS OF FANTASY: THE ART OF GREG & TIM

HILDEBRANDT

July 9 – December 14

The Hildebrandt Brothers are perhaps the most well-known and prolific artists of the fantasy genre. Identical twins, the brother’s original oil paintings, illustrations, and poster design, have brought to life some of the most iconic stories including The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Clash of the Titans.This rare exhibition of Hildebrandt work features original paintings created for the publications of the Lord of the rings, The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, and other famous tales.

Hidden Voices: Aesthetics of Change

January 14 – March 7

“Hidden Voices: Aesthetics of Change" explores the power of art to creatively explore contemporary social issues that confront the cultural beliefs and established power structures of society that challenge ideas of equity, justice, and sustainability. We seek entries that interpret and express these themes from artists working in all visual media. Online entries will be accepted  Nov 5 - Nov 19.

Zeitgeist: Spirit of the Times

January 14 – Mar 7

Nancy Steele-Makasci’s exhibition Zeitgeist confronts contemporary social issues concerning gender inequality, economic and justice disparity, agricultural monopolization, environmental exploitation and silence. Cultural beliefs and established power structures that hurt, defeat and destroy innocent lives are creatively exposed and challenged through a series of powerful images rebelliously defying inequalities with unpredictable figures, words and symbology.

Student Art Show & BFA Projects 2020

March 24 – May 2

The Woodbury Art Museum is proud to host the 2020 Student Art Show & Bachelor of Fine Arts Final Projects. This juried show includes pieces by Art and Design students and the UVU student body, shown alongside final projects by graduating BFA candidates. Don’t miss our biggest show of the year!

BFA APPLICATION

BFA applications are due December 6. 

Student Art Show entries will be accepted February 11-22.
