Pardon Our Dust -- December 19 Update

While the campus is closed for the holiday break, work will continue on projects that will make Utah Valley University an even more exceptional place.

Preparations for the new I-15 pedestrian bridge placement will require a planned power outage on December 26 and 27. Parking lot L14 and the traffic signal at the intersection of UCCU and College Drive/1200 West will be impacted. Some street lights on College Drive/1200 West will also be without electricity.

Lane adjustments at College Drive/1200 West near the pedestrian bridge construction site will continue.

The Lakeside and Admissions visitor lots will close during the construction of the Scott C. Keller Building, the new home of the Woodbury School of Business. Visitor pay parking stalls are being added in the L1 and M26 lots. The new visitor parking will be effective on January 2, 2020.  Please see the map for pay area locations.

UVU winter campus parking map

This semester, there has been an average of 1,000 empty parking spots on campus per day. This is partly due to the free public transportation services offered to UVU students and employees through UTA. UVU students currently make up 46% of student ridership on the Utah Valley Express and are the largest demographic riding FrontRunner trains.

We will send updates as construction continues.

Thank you.
