The recent emergence of the omicron variant further emphasizes the importance of vaccination, boosters, and prevention strategies to protect against COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone ages 5 and older get vaccinated, and boosters are recommended for everyone 18 years and older.

UVU’s vaccination and testing clinic are available to all employees, students, and their immediate family members who are 18 years or older. We encourage you to take advantage of our free services.

Both testing and vaccinations are on the second floor of the Sorensen Student Center above the Grand Ballroom and across from Student Health Services. Students, faculty, and staff can make an appointment.

  • COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinic hours:
    • Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    • Wednesday (Open late): 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • Holiday hours:
    • Dec. 20 – 21: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    • Dec. 22 – Jan. 4: Closed

If you are feeling unwell, avoid contact with others and get tested. If you receive a positive test result or are exposed to COVID-19, it is vital for the well-being of the campus community that you self-report and quarantine if you have not been vaccinated and isolate if you are ill. Academic or employment accommodations may be made to ensure your ability to succeed during your quarantine or isolation period.

Sincerely,

Robin Ebmeyer
