Representatives from 27 countries, along with keynote speaker Utah Governor Spencer J. Cox, visited Utah Valley University on March 21 for UVU’s Diplomatic Conference on International Trade Relations. The theme of this year’s conference was “Lessons Learned from COVID-19 and Ukraine: A Global Perspective.”

In addition to Governor Cox, other notable guests and speakers included: Franz Kolb, Director of Diplomacy & Protocol, State of Utah, Hon. Consul of Austria; Felipe Queipo, United Nations, Department of Global Communication; Shelby Daiek, Director of US Commercial Services; Aaron Starks, Vice President of Global Business Services, World Trade Center Utah; and James Burton, President, Utah Consular Corps.
