UVU Celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Throughout the month of May, learn more about Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month through campus resources and student stories.

May is recognized as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. At Utah Valley University, we've saved a seat for everyone. Each student, staff, and faculty member is valued and welcomed. Throughout the month of May, learn more about Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month through campus resources and student stories.

Multicultural Student Services, an essential and valued campus resource, provides a place to embrace, share, and validate multicultural education. As mentioned in the center's mission, "We embrace identities, languages, traditions, and values through cultural frameworks that center student narratives by providing advocacy, education, and programming."

In the coming weeks, hear from several Asian American and Pacific Islander UVU students and learn about their experiences within Multicultural Student Services and at UVU.
