UVU Celebrates Women’s History Month 2025

Women’s History Month is an exciting time at Utah Valley University (UVU) as we look back at the history of women at the university.

Women’s History Month is an exciting time at Utah Valley University (UVU) as we look back at the history of women at the university. Founded in 2011, the Women’s Intercultural Engagement Program (WIEP) engages all students throughout the year to celebrate success and understand the shared lived experiences of women at UVU. By uplifting women in higher education, UVU was able to close the gender enrollment gap for the first time in fall 2022.

This month, UVU highlights the achievements of our women and female-identifying Wolverines as history in the making. We welcome everyone in the UVU community to join us in celebrating Women’s History Month and the programs that support our students.
