Utah Valley University President Astrid S. Tuminez spoke with Dean Saeed Moaveni from the College of Engineering and Technology, UVU Faculty Senate President Dr. Hilary Hungerford, and several outstanding UVU students during her monthly “Talk With Tuminez” broadcast on September 1.

Students featured included UVUSA President Karen Magaña-Aguado; SkillsUSA champion Cheyenne Peckham; Jackson Wilde, a student leader in engineering and artificial intelligence, and Amanda Schneck, a freshman who graduated from UVU’s MTECH program.

President Tuminez also spoke with university leaders on topics including campus construction updates, COVID-19 policies, employee compensation, and more.
