Congratulations to Dr. Steven Huff, who was announced as the interim dean of the Woodbury School of Business and is now serving in that position. Dr. Huff is an associate professor of marketing and chair of the marketing department at UVU. He holds a PhD in marketing from UC Berkeley, an MBA from Brigham Young University, and a BS in computer engineering from Utah State University.

“I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to join the leadership team of the Woodbury School of Business as Interim Dean,” Huff said. “In return, I am honored to be able to give back to the students, faculty, and staff who have contributed significantly to our success. We are on a great course, and I pledge my efforts and abilities to continue achieving our mission of developing successful, competent leaders through exceptional business education.”

Dr. Huff began teaching marketing in higher education in 2001 and has experience that spans five different universities. He specializes in marketing strategy and product management. He has been awarded five different teaching awards at UVU and Berkeley.

In addition to his teaching and research, he has also engaged extensively in marketing consulting projects with startups, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies, including 3M, MasterCard, Adobe, Intel, and Cisco. He is married to Elizabeth Huff, a physician at Intermountain Healthcare and a diabetes specialist. They have four children ranging from 8 to 16 and a Cavapoo puppy, who is six months old. Together, they enjoy music, theater, hiking, national parks, movies, great food, and Disneyland.
