Parent and Family Jumpstart Orientation is a special session designed just for supporters of new UVU students. It’s your chance to learn how to best support your student as they begin their college journey.
This session includes practical tools, tips, and resources to help guide your student’s transition, plus opportunities to visit with UVU staff who are here to answer your questions and provide insight.
Encourage your student to register for Jumpstart Orientation and be sure they mark on the form how many family guests will be attending. We can’t wait to see you!

Online orientation is designed to provide students with information vital to their success at UVU. As a parent or family member seeking to support your student, online orientation may be helpful for you, too. This isn't an adapted version of online orientation created for family members. You'll be viewing the same content as your student.
Follow the instructions below to view UVU online orientation as a guest:
Go to orientation.uvu.edu and select the "Guest Login" option.
The first time you visit online orientation you'll be asked to create a new guest account.
From the "Guest Type" drop-down menu select "Family & Guests." Complete the rest of the requested information and you'll be ready to view online orientation!
