BE A PRISTINE, GREEN, WOLVERINE

by choosing to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle at UVU.

Explore the information below to learn more about recycling standards and practices:

Reducing

UVU is continuously making efforts to find and establish ways to operate using more sustainable and green methods, with our community in mind. Some of these efforts include installing filtered drinking fountains that have a special spout for filling water bottles. These fountains display the number of plastic bottles that have been saved by using refillable bottles. Within the first few weeks of installation, 10,000 plastic bottles were saved!

Reusing

For years now, UVU has auctioned off slightly used items to the community. This extends the useful life of the items and keeps them out of landfills.

Recycling

As part of the presidential initiatives on campus, sustainability and recycling are a high priority on campus.
