Additionally, at Utah Valley University, service-learning (SL) is a high-impact teaching and learning strategy that connects classroom learning with real-world community needs. Service-learning courses can be found by looking for the "SL" designation on courses during registration. Through our institutional partnership with the Innovation Academy, the Center for Social Impact helps provide service-learning faculty with the resources and support to incorporate social impact strategy into their service-learning courses.
As a student or faculty member, if you see alignment between a course or department on campus and our approach, please email Cassie Bingham at [email protected] to set up a collaboration meeting or guest lecture.
