Summer Program

The Utah Valley University TRIO Upward Bound Summer Academic Program gives students a college experience. UB students who have demonstrated commitment and hard work during the academic year will be selected to attend the summer academic program held every June and July. The camp includes a month of programming and an academic expedition at the end of the program.

The Summer Program accepts current UVU Upward Bound students in high school (grades 9-12). About 40-50 students come to campus each week to take college courses and earn up to 7 college credits. This program is offered free of charge to accepted UB students and is a great way for students to prepare for college and earn college credits toward their degree.

If you are a UVU Upward Bound Student and would like to participate in this program, contact your Upward Bound academic advisor at your local school and apply today.
