UBUG is the Utah Banner User's Group which was created by the universities and colleges in Utah that use the Ellucian Banner student information system. The group was originally created to share insights and information as many schools were new to the platform or were implementing around the same time. The group has persisted for many years and the annual conference provides a forum for making connections with colleagues and for sharing insight, tips and tricks, best practices, and innovative approaches to using Banner.

For the 2024 year, UBUG and UACRAO leadership have decided to place the two conferences back-to-back hosting them in the same week and at the same location allowing more people to attend and reduce costs for participants and institutions.
