Supporting families of children with disabilities in Indonesia

Utah Valley University partnered with UCP Roda Untuk Kemanusiaan, STIKES Bethesda Health Sciences University, and Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana to support families of children with disabilities in Indonesia. Traveling from Jakarta to Wonosobo, the team conducted a two-day, hands-on workshop for over 160 participants, teaching essential caregiving, therapy, and rehabilitation techniques for children with cerebral palsy. The initiative also fostered new collaborations with local universities and social offices, providing home exercise kits to families and laying the groundwork for future training and partnerships to strengthen disability support across the region.

The image is divided into three horizontal sections, each representing different Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education, and Reduced Inequalities) with corresponding targets and indicators.
