1. Completed MATH 1050, 1055, or 1090 or transfer equivalent (comes in as MATH 1050 or 1090) with a grade of C- or higher
2. Register for the MGMT 2240 Refresher Workshop
3. Receive an override to allow you to register for MGMT 2240 next semester
4. Attend every refresher workshop session and participate fully
5. Keep your enrollment next semester

The MGMT 2240 Refresher Workshop is designed for students who have been away from math for two or more years and need a quick review before taking business calculus. If that describes you, welcome back!

Please sign up for the Refresher Workshop corresponding to the semester in which you plan to take MGMT 2240 Business Calculus. For example, if you plan to take business calculus during Fall Semester, then register for the Fall Refresher Workshop. Don’t register for the Summer Refresher Workshop unless you plan to take MGMT 2240 during summer semester.

The cost of the workshop is $45 and there is a non-refundable $5 cancellation fee. No refunds will be made for the workshop after 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the workshop.

We want you to be able to register for your class as quickly as possible so you can save your seat and finalize your schedule. After workshop registration is complete, a business advisor will enter an override into the UVU registration system within one business day. Please register for MGMT 2240 promptly after receiving the override.

If your plans change and you decide to take business calculus a different semester, no worries. Cancel your existing enrollment in the Refresher Workshop and register for the workshop corresponding to the semester in which you plan to take business calculus.
