David Meine

David Meine retired September of 2016 after selling IdealShape that he cofounded in 2003 to The Hut Group. IdealShape® is an online health & fitness company that uses a unique combination of meal replacement shakes, supplementation, nutrition, brain training, and exercise programs to create lasting weight loss results for their clients. The Hut Group has taken the IdealShape® brands internationally.

Currently he is on several advisory boards and is helping several start-ups. He is in a unique position with starting 17 companies over his 35 years as an entrepreneur. Mentoring individuals who want to start or grow a business is a passion of his. David's expertise is in consumer goods with a passion for technological improvements that make it easier for consumers to buy.

David has two hobbies, all types of fishing and pickleball. For exercise he spends a lot of time cycling on the Jordan River Parkway with access right out his backyard. The love of his life is Carla Meine and their seven children and 18 grandchildren.
