Industry Excursions give UVU faculty and staff a firsthand look at the workplaces their students are preparing to enter. Organized and supported by both University Relations and Workforce Alignment, these guided visits connect faculty and staff directly with industry professionals — offering insight into how classroom skills translate into real jobs, and opening the door to lasting connections that can grow into faculty externships, project-based learning, guest lectures, and more.
It's a simple, high-impact way to keep university programs aligned with what employers need, while strengthening the relationship between higher education and Utah's workforce.
