Woodbury School of Business Internship Application
Before beginning this application please do the following:
Locate an internship opportunity. For help with this step please contact your Internship
Coordinator, Amy Saville. You can also search for internships by using the following page, Find Internships.
Consult with your Internship Coordinator f you have questions regarding the Internship
Application for Academic Credit or the UVU internship process. Full Matriculation
in the Woodbury School of Business is required to perform an internship. Please contact
your Advisor if you have questions about matriculation.
Complete Internship Orientation and save your completion code . Your completion code will be displayed to you once
you complete the Orientation and will be sent to you by email as well.
Submit your application by selecting "Start Application" below. Have the following
information ready before launching the document.
Name and address of Internship Provider/Company
Internship Site Supervisor name, email, and phone. The Internship Site Supervisor
is the individual employed by your Internship Provider who will mentor you during
your experience.
Average number of hours that you will work per week

It is recommended that you talk with your Advisor several months before the semester that you desire to complete your internship.
60 working hours=1 internship credit.
If your application is approved, you will be notified by email to register for the
internship course. This may take up to 3 weeks. Do not try and register for these
credits before you get confirmation that your internship application is approved.
Can I use my current job for my internship? Yes! If you have been in your current job under 90 days or you can take on a new
project or new responsibilities related to your major. This is to ensure that it
is a learning experience for you rather than just free credit for work that you already
have done.
You must have a mentor/supervisor at your internship location and have their contact
information ready before starting the application. You will need to list all of your
internship job duties as they relate to your field of study.
Upon receipt of application approval by email, please refer to the registration instructions
and included Course Registration Number (CRN) to register for your course.
Once you have registered for your class, you can then log onto your Canvas and complete
your internship course.
