Hashim Nahari
My name is Hashim. l'm from Saudi Arabia. I was born on November 9, 1996. I'm a student at UVU. I study English language. After I finish English program, I'm going to study aviation. My goals are to speak English fluently and be a pilot. I like to dive and play soccer. I love to help other people. I have been in United States 8 months. I'm interested in making friends from other countries and different cultures. Also I really like to know new cultures. I enjoy to talk with new people. I like to try new, good things. I like to watch movies. My favorite game is chess. My ambition is be a pilot and famous.
Nancy Vargas
Nancy Vargas Chaparro is a smart and beautiful Colombian woman. Resident of this marvelous country since 2014. Also, wife, mother, and student of ELL program at UVU. Furthermore, Nancy is a professional in corporate sales, and adviser of small businesses. Moreover, she spends her time observing the nature, the behavior of the human beings, and the birds, when she is not reading. On the other hand, she enjoys to run the extra mile to help others, and is very persistent. Finally, she has learned that everything occurs in the appropriate time because she trusts in the Lord.
Serge Kankonde
My name is Serge Kankonde from Democratic Republic of Congo. I have two siblings and they are sisters. I graduated from high school in 2012. After my two years of LDS Mission, I liked to study Construction Management. Not having that in my country, I decided to study Architecture, but kept on looking where can I find the dreamed major. Finally, I found out Utah Valley University, and engaged in learning and get my degree from it. Now I’m here to fulfill my dream. How happy I am! I’m sure to be in the right place to do the right thing.
Cathy Chao
My name is Cathy Chao. I’m from Taiwan. I studied auto in high school and joined many competitions about it. I was in Utah last year for two weeks, that’s when I decided to study here.
