A Throwback on Fall 2016 Poster Session

Something we might have forgot to mention before is that our program has special Capitol Reef class section. Why is it special? Not only do the students get to spend a week in the most amazing place in Utah, but they also get to choose one of the environmental problems that currently face our world and are able to learn about it. Students try to choose one problem or environmental concern that is personally relevant to them. A poster session usually takes place in the science building atrium each semester. Such events help our international students become "pros" inn understanding global issues and lets them practice their communication and language skills with native English speakers as well as the educated students and staff of UVU. It’s beneficial on both ends, isn't it?
