The UVU Writing Center offers free tutoring for ELL students in many skill areas—not just writing. You can get help with reading, grammar, speaking and pronunciation, and the ELL tutors can even help you with personal English issues like understanding a rental contract or instructions on how to pay a parking ticket. Come get one-on-one help individually tailored to your specific needs. The Writing Center is located in FL 208 on the second floor of the Fulton Library, close to the Liberal Arts building. "When I was in Level 1, I took my first paragraph to Paul. Until then I had no experience in writing, but he carefully pointed out everything I should improve and clearly explained each change. After that first experience, I felt much more confident in writing and how to organize my paragraphs. I believe that through the tutor my vocabulary, both in speech and in writing, had a great evolution. I am grateful for all the support that Paul has given me for five semesters!"
