The Intercultural Ethics Lecture Series brings together leading scholars, practitioners, and community voices to explore the ethical dimensions of intercultural engagement in our increasingly globalized world. The lecture series features conversations designed to foster dialogue, deepen cultural understanding, and strengthen our understanding of ethical decision-making, dialogue, and engagement across our broader community.

Representation, Ethics, and Culture: Reflections on “the Other” in Intercultural Communication Research

This panel will discuss with students how to engage in more ethical intercultural communication research, recognizing and reflecting on issues of representation, culture, and positionality. Students will participate in a short research methods workshop and reflect on challenges and possibilities associated with intercultural representation research.
