Thank you for your generous support of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) at Utah Valley University. Your contributions during the EverGREEN campaign have made a lasting difference for our students and programs. From 2018 to 2025, 157 donors have collectively contributed $780,307 to CHSS, strengthening the college and expanding opportunities for learning, growth, compassion, and discovery.

Because of your generosity, UVU students in CHSS have access to hands-on learning experiences that foster critical thinking and leadership. One example is the CHSS Mental Health Clinic with the psychology and counseling programs, where UVU students gain practical experience while providing essential counseling services to the community. Your gifts help ensure this clinic remains an accessible resource for mental health, while also preparing the next generation of counselors and social scientists for meaningful careers in service to others.

Your Gifts Make a Difference in the Lives of Students

“My choice to pursue a UVU degree in history came because of a desire to contribute to society while learning more about my interests. I am especially fascinated with religious history and its connections with ancient Israel. A dream of mine is to one day be involved in the archiving process to share this knowledge. Currently, I am writing a study guide for cultural aspects of the Bible to help create a clearer understanding of its cultural influence. After I graduate, I want to support future generations by teaching them the importance of history because I believe this will benefit our community.

Giving back to my community would not be possible without UVU and the people who support the university.”
