Approximately 5,000 people attend Freshman Convocation. There will be a high volume of vehicles entering campus, especially at the main entrance on University Parkway. Please allow yourself an additional 25 minutes of travel time to reach the UCCU Center, find parking, and walk to the venue. If it normally takes you 15 minutes to travel to UVU and find parking, then plan on at least 40 minutes travel and parking time for Freshman Convocation.
We ask that all freshmen be in their seats by 5:45pm so that the show can begin on-time at 6:00 p.m. UVU's own Sonic Exchange will be providing pre-show entertainment!
Please be aware that there are multiple entry points to UVU. The traffic circle off of University Parkway will back up quickly. Instead, plan to access campus from the east side at 400 West, or from the north side at 1200 West, then follow the signs to Freshman Convocation parking.
Please follow the parking signs to parking lots L10, L9, L8, L5, L3, and L14 (see map below).
