These aren’t your standard dress clothes. &Collar makes shirts that keep you comfortable all day while still looking sharp. Fabrics stretch, breathe, and resist spills, so you can move seamlessly from work to dinner without missing a beat.
Ben Perkins transformed a UVU class project into a global apparel company. Born in Texas and raised across Asia, Ben arrived at UVU in 2014, played Division I soccer, and immersed himself in business and entrepreneurship. With support from UVU professors, the Chelsea and Casey Baugh Entrepreneurship Institute, and pitch competitions, he refined the idea that would launch his company. Today, &Collar ships internationally, and Ben pays it forward by mentoring UVU students.
“Although there were nearly 40,000 students when I attended UVU, I always received personalized help from my professors. Many of them became mentors for me as I graduated and continued with my career goals. My professors at UVU helped me salvage my business plan, and what started as a class project turned into a successful clothing company that has continued to grow. It was engaged learning at its finest.”
