Our team creates exciting events and activities at partner housing complexes, fostering student involvement in social, educational, service, leadership, and recreational opportunities. As a Community Leader, you’ll be key in establishing an authentic campus life experience, connecting students to campus resources, and promoting a strong affinity to UVU by
Participating in the Community Leadership Program helps students grow in their ability to exercise critical thinking, collaborate with others, and develop the skill sets necessary to set and accomplish personal and professional goals.
Freshmen Community Leaders or FCLs live on-site, plan events for the first-year students at their complexes, and focus on using a momentum year framework to put Wolverines on a solid path to success.
Participation Requirements
Residential Community Leaders or RCLs live on-site, plan events for their complexes, and act as a resource for their peers.

Wolverine Community Leaders or WCLs live off-site, plan events for an assigned complex, and connect students to UVU resources.

Our student leaders plan one to two events each month to connect students living in off-campus housing back to the university. Our events are great places to meet new people, learn new skills, have fun, or hear about UVU events and resources. All of our events are FREE and we encourage all UVU students to attend!
