"My externship gave me a masterclass in leadership and meeting the fast pace world of tech startups. I felt valued, challenged, and invigorated to bring what I experienced back into the classroom. Buckle up students, it's time to rock and roll!"
-Emily Hedrick on her externship with Troomi
"This opportunity offered me and this organization the support to establish a mutually beneficial relationship that would have a greater impact beyond the externship itself. Some of the impact was found in the immediate application of this experience to one of my summer courses, which built on the relationships from the externship to create opportunities for students. This included student field visits to this organization and incorporating case studies and projects from the externship to bridge gaps between academic anthropological inquiry; employment and internship opportunities; civic engagement and community service; conservation, language, society, and culture; in order to provide some holistic insights on possibilities in life after graduation."
-Tecun Hernandez on his externship with Tracy Aviary
"The faculty externship provided me time to dedicate towards establishing a project and collaboration with my industry partner, which will be continued by undergraduate researchers."
-Vince Rossi on his externship with Lumea
