Fulton Library is more than just a place to check out books or cram for finals. It’s
a space designed to reflect and support the unique lives and learning styles of everyone
on campus. Whether you’re looking for a quiet study spot, a new hobby, or a moment
of inspiration, the library has a place for you.
Study Spaces
Everyone studies differently, and we understand that. Need some privacy for a video call or a tutoring session? Book one of our study rooms. Prefer a cozy nook where you can plug in your headphones and focus? The study pods on the first and third floor are perfect for that.
The Gibson Family Foundation Family Study Suite takes it a step further by offering a lactation room and a kid-friendly play area along with study spaces for parents. If you're a student balancing academics and family life, the Family Study Suite can help support those needs.
Booklists
Our shelves are full of more than just textbooks. You’ll find curated booklists that highlight a wide variety of topics, cultures, and perspectives—giving everyone the chance to see themselves in the stories and ideas they explore. Whether you’re searching for a gripping novel, a powerful documentary, or something totally new, there’s always a recommendation to match your mood.
Roots of Knowledge
If you’re in the mood for inspiration, wander into Roots of Knowledge at Bingham Gallery to find the iconic stained-glass panels that tell the story of human knowledge through time. Each panel reflects different cultures, innovations, and people who have shaped our world. The Roots of Knowledge team also hosts events that highlight specific cultures and ideas, which is a great way to expand your horizons.
Equipment Checkout
At Fulton Library, learning isn’t limited to books and screens. Through our equipment checkout service, you can borrow tools that spark creativity and curiosity. Want to try your hand at digital photography, music production, or stargazing? You can check out everything from telescopes and electric pianos to art kits and Cricut machines. It’s a hands-on way to explore new hobbies or develop existing skills—no experience required.
George Sutherland Archives
If you're curious about UVU’s history or the people and moments that helped shape the region, the George Sutherland Archives is the place to go. With rotating exhibits and preserved collections, it’s a space for rediscovery—where you can connect with stories that inform both our past and our future.
