All Media Enhanced Classrooms now have an automated lecture capture recording system installed as part of the system. Recordings upload into the faculty's "My Media" section of Canvas.

Digital Signage

AVSE manages UVU's Digital Signage System which stretches across campus from the Provo Airport to the Wasatch Campus with over 250 locations. Visit the Digital Signage Website

LED Video Walls

AVSE can provide LED video walls in scenarios where projector just won't cut it. Advances in technology are making these displays more cost effective for use  through out campus.

Utah Valley University (UVU) has implemented Technology Equipment Standards to ensure the responsible allocation of university funds, guarantee equipment compatibility, and maintain consistency across campus. These standards are crucial for acquiring high-quality, sustainable products that meet UVU's needs.


Audio Visual Services & Engineering

Audio Visual Services & Engineering (AVSE) is your dedicated resource for all audio visual technology. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, including:

  • Free consulting and design services: Get expert advice and tailored solutions for your audio and visual needs.
  • Cost-effective integration: We provide efficient and economical integration for new constructions, remodels, and upgrades.
  • Value engineering and discounted products: By consulting with AVSE, you can benefit from value engineering, extended warranties, professional integration, and discounted equipment pricing.

Policy on Audio Visual Equipment Procurement

In accordance with UVU standards, all audio visual equipment must be purchased through AVSE. To initiate a project or request AV technology, please submit a project request form. We are committed to assisting you in fulfilling your requirements.

Please be aware that any audiovisual equipment procured or installed without AVSE involvement is in violation of university policy. Such equipment will not be supported by AVSE and may require removal.
