This will entail a 20 to 30 minute in-person or Skype/Zoom interview with one MFPA Admissions Committee member and one MFPA Office staff member.
Each applicant will be notified by email whether you have been short-listed for an interview or will not be considered any further at this point in time.

What to expect during your interview and how to come prepared

Once you receive your invitation to interview from the MFPA Admissions Committee, confirm your interview time and location with the MFPA Office. If you are not able to come to our Orem campus for an in-person interview, you may elect to interview via Skype or Zoom. Please notify the MFPA Office of this election so proper arrangements can be made.

How to prepare

We recommend that you prepare for this interview as you would for a professional job interview. Be ready to provide more information about aspects of your application and demonstrate your understanding of UVU’s MFPA program. Successful candidates will also be able to speak to their background, aspirations, interests, and how the MFPA program fits their plans and life goals.

Final Decision

What to expect once you have completed your online application and your interview

Once all interviews have been conducted, the MFPA Admissions Committee will decide which candidates will receive an invitation to join the MFPA program. Each candidate will be notified of the committee’s final decision via email. If you have received an offer of acceptance, you will need to confirm your acceptance with the MFPA Office in order to hold your place in the program. This can be done by responding to the offer email or calling the MFPA office.
