What does a “customized dashboard” actually mean?

It means you’ll be able to personalize parts of your dashboard to better fit your needs. Many widgets can be rearranged, resized, added, or removed. Some core items will stay locked in place so important information is always easy to find.

Can I rearrange or hide cards/modules?

Yes! This is one of the features we’re most excited about. You’ll be able to rearrange and resize many widgets, and in some cases remove ones you don’t need. A few core items will stay in place to ensure consistency and access to important tools.

Will students, staff, and faculty see different content?

Yes. Content is personalized based on your role. This helps ensure you see the information that matters most to you. For example:

  • Students won’t see employee-only tools like pay information.
  • Staff who are not enrolled in classes won’t see student course tools.

Can departments personalize content for their audiences?

At initial launch, this will not be available. However, as we continue to grow and improve the platform, we plan to explore ways departments can personalize content for their audiences.

How easy is it to update content compared to before?

Updating content will be just as easy — if not easier — than before. While the interface may look a little different, the process will remain straightforward and familiar.
