Any time spent outdoors is an adventure in our book. We have workshops, day trips, and multi-day excursions throughout the semester. No matter your skill level, you are welcome at our adventures with the Outdoor Adventure Center.

There are opportunities for discovery and adventure in Utah beyond the events held by the OAC. Here are just a few of our favorite places to explore, along with additional information to help you get started on your own.
The Outdoor Adventure Center collaborates with departments across campus to offer domestic and international excursions for academic credit. These courses and trips offer hands-on learning and a perfect opportunity to apply education learned in the classroom to an outdoor setting.
Previous excursions have included a natural history excursion to the Grand Canyon, a botany biking trip to Capitol Reef, and a geology and biology study abroad in Sicily, Italy.

The Outdoor Adventure Center offers International Service and Educational Excursions providing students an opportunity to engage in Experiential Education.
These excursions provide student leader development, participant development, and a community impact. For more information on upcoming international trips please email the program director [email protected]
Rental and retail shop attendees, climbing wall operators, Adventure Trip Leaders, and other general service operations all help the OAC connect students and community members to the outdoors. View our current job openings and join our team.
