Summer 2026 Grant Writing Seminar

Hosted by UVU’s Office of Sponsored Programs, the Summer 2026 Grant Writing Seminar is a four-day workshop designed to strengthen faculty grant development skills. Sessions focus on identifying funding opportunities, crafting persuasive proposal narratives, building project budgets, and navigating the grant lifecycle at UVU.

Register for the Seminar

Priority registration for tenure-track faculty runs through April 15. After that, registration opens to all faculty and closes one week before the seminar.

Program Schedule

The seminar is organized across two weeks and covers the full arc of grant development—from identifying opportunities and interpreting funding announcements to writing persuasive proposals, building budgets, and understanding compliance requirements.

Proposal Writing & Development

Sessions are led by experienced members of UVU’s Office of Sponsored Programs who support faculty in grant development, proposal preparation, and research administration.
