Hosted by UVU's Office of Sponsored Programs, the 2027 Summer Grant Writing Seminar is a four-day workshop designed to strengthen faculty and staff grant development skills.

Sessions focus on identifying funding opportunities, developing competitive proposals, preparing project budgets, and navigating the UVU grant lifecycle.

The seminar is organized across two weeks and covers the full arc of grant development—from identifying opportunities and interpreting funding announcements to writing persuasive proposals, building budgets, and understanding compliance requirements.

Seminar Resource Guide

The Seminar Resource Guide will be distributed digitally to registered seminar participants during the seminar via QR code. Prior to access, participants will complete a brief Materials Access & Responsible Use Agreement.
