The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) will host a 90-minute, discussion-based training session designed to support tenure-track faculty in the early stages of the grant-seeking process by taking the first steps toward transforming project needs into fundable proposals

You’ll leave with practical guidance on:

  • Clarifying project needs and aligning them to funder priorities
  • Finding external funding opportunities that fit your work
  • Knowing when and how to engage OSP early
  • Understanding the building blocks of a competitive proposal

Who should attend

Tenure-track faculty and UVU administrators at the director level or higher who are interested in pursuing external funding—whether new to grants or seeking a refresher—are encouraged to attend.

Participants will receive meal vouchers in appreciation of their time.
