The mission of SCUP is to provide educational assistance to the community of the Central Utah Region in order to increase academic stability, enhance economic viability, and raise awareness of valuable university and community outreach programs that directly benefit community members.

In order to qualify for work study employment, you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) located at Please remember to indicate that you are interested in being considered for work-study on the application. Private Tutor

Help individuals (K-16) achieve their educational goals by providing one on one tutoring. In order to be a Private Tutor you must have completed college courses relevant to the subjects applying for with a B or higher. Look for opportunities through or email Pay is dependent on the number of credits completed and ranges from $9-$11.25/hour.

Summer Associate through AmeriCorps - UVU PREP

Supervise and assist middle school students in a 7-week summer STEM program at UVU. Full-time, 40 hours a week. $2550 for the summer plus an additional education award of $1,230.00.
