UVU PREP Program for Middle Schoolers | School Community University Partnership (SCUP)

UVU PREP is a free science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) program for middle school and junior high students. Over three summers, UVU PREP provides rigorous academic instruction, educational hands-on projects, challenging homework assignments, career awareness speakers and field trips.

Current sixth grade students attending public school in the Alpine, Nebo and Provo school districts can apply for the program. Once a student is accepted, UVU PREP is a three-year commitment.

Mandatory Parent Orientation Dates
- Year 1 Students: May 6, 2025, 6 pm

Closing Celebration: The UVU PREP Closing Celebration honors the achievements of our participating students. Year 3 students are recognized for completing all 3 years of UVU PREP.
