Fast Track 1-2-3 empowers students to accelerate their education and achieve their goals sooner. Through strategic partnerships with Utah’s technical colleges, High School Concurrent Enrollment, UVU's Credit for Prior Learning program, and UVU Online, students can choose from multiple flexible, streamlined pathways to earn workforce ready degrees in one, two, or three years—saving time and money while gaining real-world skills.
Get a head start on college—while you’re still in high school.
Through High School Concurrent Enrollment, students can begin earning college credits early and move confidently toward a degree.
To get started, students complete the Concurrent Enrollment Participation Form and the UVU Student Application. Once officially accepted, UVU advisors are available to help—guiding course selection and creating a clear path forward.
Students work toward completing the General Education Certificate, which equals one full year of college coursework and applies to most 2 year or 4 year degrees—saving both time and money while building a strong academic foundation.

Turn your technical training into a faster college degree.
Graduates of Utah’s technical colleges can fast track their education at UVU by transferring earned technical credits toward a degree.
After completing a certificate at any of Utah’s eight technical colleges, students can apply for admission to UVU and submit their technical college transcripts. Once officially accepted, students partner with a dedicated academic advisor to see how their credits apply, understand remaining requirements, and map out the fastest route to graduation.
Through this streamlined pathway, students can earn a UVU degree in as little as one, two, or three years—saving time, maximizing prior learning, and moving quickly toward career goals.
Turn your experience into college credit—and move your career forward.
Individuals with prior work or career experience can accelerate their education through Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) at UVU. This opportunity allows students to earn college credit for knowledge and skills they already possess.
To begin, individuals apply for admission and connect with a UVU academic advisor, who will guide them through the CPL process and help translate real world experience into academic progress—saving time and helping them level up faster in the workforce.
