Before you can apply to the elementary, secondary or special education program, you must complete the fingerprint process.

See your advisor if you have any questions.

1. Go to the  Utah Schools Information Management System (USIMS)(External Web Content)
2. Create an account and follow prompts.

   *When prompted, select yes to the item labeled “Utah Teacher Preparation Program” and select Utah Valley University. Make sure you hit “save” before navigating away from this page.*

3. View the Fingerprint Directions provided. (Please read instructions)
4. Print Fingerprint Instructions from USIMS and bring to your fingerprinting appointment (the LiveScan location will need the information in this document)

On-site, all-day fingerprinting sessions will be available for new students in ME 119.
