A closer look at Student Health Services’ wait times
By Ammon Cheney, Psy.D.
I was happy to answer some questions for The Review last month. Nichole Terry of the review was interested in SHS wait times, and I think her article did a great job of debunking some myths and misconceptions.
One correction is worth noting. Terry wrote, "Any student enrolled in 9+ credit hours during the fall and 6+ credit hours in the summer are eligible for psychiatric, mental health, and medical services." Students actually only need to be enrolled in 3+ credits in order to access medical and psychiatric services, any semester.
