What's the Course Like?

The Wolverine Connections class meets two hours per week, plus one hour of connecting activities outside of class.

Instructors guide you through lessons on practical college success skills, and you’ll have a peer mentor to answer questions, give advice, and help you connect with other students.

This isn’t just a lecture—you’ll participate, reflect, and learn strategies you can actually use in your daily life as a student.

Hands-On Experience

  • A campus scavenger hunt will help you learn your way around and feel confident navigating campus.
  • Group projects and small assignments will help you connect with classmates.
  • Self-discovery exercises will guide you through understanding your strengths and how you like to learn.
