SLSS 1000: Wolverine Connections is a 3-credit course designed to help you hit the ground running, make friends, and find your groove on campus. This course will connect you with everything UVU has to offer—both academically and socially.

The Wolverine Connections class meets two hours per week, plus one hour of connecting activities outside of class.
Instructors guide you through lessons on practical college success skills, and you’ll have a peer mentor to answer questions, give advice, and help you connect with other students.
This isn’t just a lecture—you’ll participate, reflect, and learn strategies you can actually use in your daily life as a student.
This class is for any new UVU student who wants to adjust to college life, build practical study skills, connect with other students, and explore campus resources—basically, anyone ready to start their first year confident and prepared.
