After 3 years of college courses, job readiness exploration, numerous supported study hours with peers, and social experiences, Utah Valley University celebrates the first four graduates of the Wolverines Elevated (WE) program with a recognition open house for families and friends.
The Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism is proud to share details for the
annual UVU Autism Conference for 2025. Thank you for joining us, as we learn best
practice approaches to build a community of belonging, together.
We are excited to announce that Erik Carter will be our keynote speakers. We now provide
a pre-conference day of breakout sessions annually, with a special area of focus each
year.
For seven years, the UVU Dental Hygiene program has partnered with the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism to provide autism-specific training and host field trips for local autistic preschoolers and kindergarteners. This partnership helps children explore dental practices in a safe, fun environment while giving students valuable hands-on experience with autism's diverse characteristics.
