WE LIFT Co-Working Wednesdays

Every Wednesday, the Entrepreneurship Institute is open to anyone looking for co-working space, or just somewhere to work that isn't home. Parking is only $1 an hour and we have Wi-Fi, desk space, private meeting rooms, and a podcast room available from 9 AM-5 PM.

ZinnStarter Competition

ZinnStarter
ZinnStarter exists to ignite the next generation of entrepreneurs. This includes giving them encouragement and mentoring as well as cash. Pitch for up to $2500 each semester. Apply by March 8th, 2024! Must be a current UVU student, competition held at UVU every fall and spring semester.

VentureCon

VentureCon: Student Business Trade Show

VentureCon is a one day, four hour trade show where UVU students with businesses will have the opportunity to set up a table and pitch their idea, sell their product, or otherwise work on validating their business concepts. Members of the community are invited to come and support our student businesses by providing them feedback or purchasing the students' products.

GSEA

Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Utah

The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) is the premier global competition for students who own and operate a business while attending college or university. Nominees compete against their peers from around the world in a series of local and/or national competitions in hopes to qualify for GSEA Finals. Founded in 1998 by Saint Louis University, GSEA is now an Entrepreneurs’ Organization program. Applications due October 24, 2023.

Bench 2 Bedside
The Bench to Bedside Competition (B2B) is an exciting and vibrant program that introduces students to the fascinating world of medical technology innovation.  

B2B is a multidisciplinary experiential educational program that teaches the impact and the power diversity of thought can bring to the innovation process. The program has grown immensely in scope and quality over the last eight years. We have now engaged over 1,300 students into 300 inter-disciplinary teams that have spawned innovative new health care technologies. More than 65 of these teams have moved forward to commercialize their creations.
