Funding Eligibility & Policies
Funding distributed through the UVU Baugh Entrepreneurship Institute is provided as an equity-free cash award. UVU does not take any ownership or equity stake in student businesses.
To be eligible to receive funding, you must be a degree-seeking student at Utah Valley University. A degree-seeking student is defined as an individual enrolled in a program of study lasting 6 months or longer and pursuing an endorsement, diploma, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or graduate degree.
Please note that receiving funding may impact your financial aid package, FAFSA eligibility, visa status, or other aspects of your student standing. Students must also be in good standing with the university. Individuals on academic probation, with outstanding financial obligations, or with other holds affecting their student status may not be eligible to receive funding.
Once funding has been approved, the university payment process may take up to 2 months for funds to be received.
